23.09— 30.09 Bossche Bol Bol Naam Maken/ Name the Work

Bossche Bol Bol is een platform gevestigd in ’s-Hertogenbosch dat een ontmoetingsplaats biedt voor kunstenaars, studenten en cultuurmakers. Via gesprekken, portfoliosessies, tentoonstellingen en openbare bijeenkomsten creëren we mogelijkheden voor mensen om werk te delen, ideeën uit te wisselen en contacten te leggen.

Onze komende tentoonstelling, Naam Maken/Name the Work, experimenteert met de rol van interpretatie in de hedendaagse kunst. In plaats van conventionele bijschriften te geven, worden bezoekers uitgenodigd om hun eigen titels en beschrijvingen voor de kunstwerken te schrijven. Deze collectieve reacties worden onderdeel van de tentoonstelling zelf en bieden ruimte voor dialoog, nieuwsgierigheid en meerdere interpretaties.

Vanaf september beginnen we met het ontwikkelen van een reeks activiteiten in Den Bosch en daarbuiten, waarbij we kunstenaars, studenten en publiek samenbrengen in een informele en ondersteunende omgeving.

Bossche Bol Bol is a platform based in ’s-Hertogenbosch, creating a common ground for artists, students, and cultural practitioners. Through conversations, portfolio sessions, exhibitions, and public gatherings, we create opportunities for people to share work, exchange ideas, and build connections.

Our upcoming exhibition, Naam Maken/Name the Work, experiments with the role of interpretation in contemporary art. Instead of providing conventional captions, visitors are invited to write their own titles and descriptions for the artworks. These collective responses become part of the exhibition itself, opening space for dialogue, curiosity, and multiple readings.

Starting in September, we will begin developing a series of activities in ’s-Hertogenbosch and beyond, bringing together artists, students, and audiences in an informal and supportive environment.
